No pics yet.

Okay, I've got to come clean. I hurt my achilles 8 days ago doing something I absolutely had NO business doing in the first place.......indoor rock climbing. I thought it would be more of an arm workout, but I'm so short I had to really reach for it and push with my feet in ways I wasn't expecting. So, I haven't been able to chase the kids around with the camera. I can't believe it's lasted this long, it should be getting better soon. ( :

Big weekend

I had some friends come up and stay with us this weekend. They have 2 small children and the kids played well together. Gattiland was fun for all.
I'm behind on my blog pictures. Not to worry! Stay tuned for ample blog fodder this week!

can't ....stop......watching

I can't believe it. I've succumbed to the Olympic hype. Swimming, gymnastics, etc. It really eats into blog time.

24

Nana and Grandpa Doug watched the kiddos for 24 hours while Rick and I had a night away. The kids had a great time and we did too. Thanks you guys!
We went outside of town and visited a few wineries before going to our B&B. The next day we climbed Enchanted Rock before heading back to pick up H & A.

The screwdriver

H absolutely loves his little screwdriver. He takes apart EVERYTHING. We're still working on putting it all back together. Here he is tonight taking apart the "Little People" carwash.

H-O-T

I think we just hit the 42nd day of 100+ days for the year. Which ranks #3 in the record books behind years 1923 and 1926. Hopefully we'll get rain from this tropical storm/hurricane(?) tomorrow night and Wednesday.

We had a good weekend. We enjoyed our time with Nana and GPDoug on Sunday. In fact, they are watching the kids while Rick and I have an overnight get-away on Thursday. Wow! Thanks guys! I hope that H & A are well behaved and don't go crazy on you! I think my mom probably rolls her eyes...she had 4 girls for goodness sake! Yeah, but we were GOOD kids, angelic actually....100% of the time, right?? Not like my feral children. Well, I'll load up the orange "time out" bean bag (complete with timer) just in case they have a lapse in judgment. ( :
