Great trip!

We had a fantastic time on our family adventure and many thanks to Grandpa for his generous hospitality. We enjoyed seeing everyone in R's family and many more pictures in the days to come.

Family trip!!

Whoa!! I haven't posted since last Thursday?? How did that happen?

We are leaving today for NY to see R's family. We are all super excited!!
We are planning to bring everything we need to blog during the trip.
So check back in a day or two!

First tooth

A. was eating a bean/cheese taco for lunch when she screamed, "oh Mommy! Mommy! I think its my tooth!! It fell out!" HZ and I clapped and congratulated her. She's super excited about the tooth fairy tonight.

Afternoon with Granddad

First, how DO you spell Granddad? Are there 2 D's? Grandad looks better, but blogger is telling me I'm spelling it wrong. Gran parent or Grand parent? Not quite sure. I'll look it up. But not right now, because then I have to move my hand over to the mouse and click a few times. Wow. What work. Actually, it would have been less work then typing all of these sentences discussing the matter. Oh well. I digress.
We met up with Granddad for lunch at a restaurant then found a play scape for the kiddos while we visited. Great to see you Granddad! Thanks for a fun afternoon! ( :

Peaches

First of all, Happy 4th of July!! We had a nice day. Hope everyone did too!!

Part of our 4th of July day included picking our ripe peaches from our tree. 1st time in 7 years it has produced! Go figure!
They are wonderful and tasty.
The squirrels especially think so....unfortunately.

Parental FAIL

6:15, kid showers are done and we were all hanging out on mom and dad's bed....then we ALL fell asleep by 6:30pm. Every single one of us. How does that happen? I woke up an hour later, R. did too. We high-fived each other....until 9:00 pm when they WOKE UP with LOTS of energy. See?
Movie and popcorn, quiet play, then back to bed.
Not so bad.
