Look Ma, no training wheels!

Today R and H went to the track learn how to ride a bike without
training wheels. It was the perfect place, really. Riding into a football field of grass for a crash landing or emergency "dismount" comes in handy.
After a few seconds (!) of R running behind H with his hand on the seat, our little tyke announced "Ok, you can let go!" and off he went.
We all went back to the track as a family later in the afternoon and then celebrated the big event with ice cream.

Did I mention that it was a thousand degrees outside today?
