Hayden is hiding behind the cute girl in pink (right hand corner). (She is also the daughter of Aubin's teacher.) Today his class celebrated his birthday. Since his b-day falls right before the beginning of school, his teacher gave us a choice to party it up now or wait until the end of school with the other summer birthdays. Easy choice! Cupcake parties are always better sooner rather than later!
In classic Hayden fashion, H promptly let his teacher know this morning that he did NOT want people to sing the happy birthday song. I think his classmates were thrilled to eat their cupcakes right away and not wait the 20 seconds it takes to sing a song. Way to work the social scene, Hayden! Winning friends, influencing people. Dale Carnegie would be proud.
